LOCAL STONE EXPERTS
Beautiful Marble Shouldn’t Be Difficult to Live With
Marble and other calcium-based stones are naturally sensitive to acids. Lemon juice, wine, coffee, vinegar, tomatoes, and many household cleaners can react with the stone and leave dull, whitish marks known as etching.
Traditional penetrating sealers can help reduce staining, but they do not stop this chemical reaction. A sealed marble countertop can still become etched from an ordinary kitchen spill.
IMPORTANT DISTINCTION
Sealing and etch protection are not the same thing.

COMMON MARBLE DAMAGE
Acid etching creates dull rings, splash marks, and uneven areas that ordinary cleaning cannot remove.

COMPARE YOUR OPTIONS
Traditional Sealer vs. AntiEtch®
Traditional penetrating sealers help reduce staining, but they cannot prevent acid etching. MORE® AntiEtch® provides a different level of surface protection for marble and other acid-sensitive stone.
TRADITIONAL PROTECTION
Penetrating Stone Sealer
A penetrating sealer absorbs into the stone to help slow moisture and staining. It does not create a surface barrier against acids, so sealed marble can still become etched.
ADVANCED SURFACE PROTECTION
MORE® AntiEtch®
AntiEtch® creates a crystal-clear protective barrier designed to prevent acid etching and everyday staining while preserving the stone’s chosen appearance.
