MORE® AntiEtch® Warranty & Care

Warranty coverage, registration, care requirements, and official manufacturer resources

Important Warranty Notice

This page provides a plain-language overview of the MORE® AntiEtch® manufacturer warranty, registration requirements, care guidance, and available customer resources. It is provided for convenience and does not replace, modify, extend, or supersede the manufacturer’s official written warranty.

Warranty eligibility, coverage, exclusions, claim decisions, and available remedies are determined exclusively under the current warranty terms issued by ROX™ Surface Protection Systems/MORE® Surface Care. If any information on this page differs from the official warranty, the manufacturer’s current written terms will control.

NextGen Surface Care does not independently create or expand manufacturer warranty coverage.

Lifetime Limited Warranty Overview

MORE® AntiEtch® is supported by a manufacturer-issued Lifetime Limited Warranty for qualifying installations completed by a MORE® Certified Applicator. To activate coverage, the installation must be properly documented and certified by the applicator, and the customer must complete the required warranty registration.

Subject to the manufacturer’s terms, qualifying coverage generally continues for the life of the treated countertop while the coating remains intact, properly adhered, normally used, and maintained according to the official care requirements.

Coverage is generally limited to the original owner or user at the original installation address and may end if the countertop is sold, transferred, relocated, materially altered, or affected by conditions excluded under the warranty.

Registration and proper care are required to maintain qualifying warranty coverage.

What Is Generally Covered

Subject to the official warranty terms, qualifying registered installations are generally covered against conditions involving the performance of the MORE® AntiEtch® coating under normal interior use, including:

– Etching caused by common acidic foods and beverages
– Staining from oils, wine, coffee, and ordinary household spills
– Yellowing or deterioration of the coating over time
– Loss of coating performance during normal use

If ROX™ determines that a reported condition qualifies for coverage, the available remedy may include stain removal or repair of the affected etching or coating condition, at the manufacturer’s discretion.

Coverage applies to the AntiEtch® coating—not every form of damage that may occur to the stone, countertop, fixtures, or surrounding materials.

What Is Not Covered

MORE® AntiEtch® is designed to resist etching and staining, but it is not scratch-proof, impact-proof, or indestructible. Conditions generally excluded from manufacturer warranty coverage include:

– Scratches, scuffs, chips, gouges, cuts, or heavy-impact damage
– Damage caused by misuse, neglect, abuse, or improper maintenance
– Abrasive cleaners, scouring powders, creams, pads, or unauthorized chemicals
– Excessive heat, hot cookware, or high-temperature applications
– Outdoor installations or damage associated with sunlight and UV exposure
– Prolonged, trapped, or excessive moisture
– Contamination beneath the coating from oils, waxes, sealers, or other substances
– Failure of caulk, seams, plumbing, the substrate, or the countertop structure
– Unauthorized repairs, alterations, relocation, or changes to the treated surface
– Damage resulting from disasters or conditions unrelated to the AntiEtch® coating
– Incidental expenses or replacement of countertops, fixtures, plumbing, backsplashes, or surrounding materials

Use cutting boards, trivets, coasters, and approved cleaning methods to reduce damage that falls outside warranty coverage.

Register Your Installation

Warranty registration is required to activate qualifying MORE® AntiEtch® manufacturer coverage. After installation, NextGen Surface Care will complete the applicable installer documentation and provide the information you need to register your treated surface.
During registration, you may be asked to provide:

– Customer or company name
– Email address
– Installation date and address
– Warranty or installation number
– Name of the certified applicator

After submitting the registration, retain the confirmation together with your NextGen Surface Care proposal, service agreement, invoice, and care information. These records may be required if a warranty concern is reported later.

Registration confirms the installation record but does not expand coverage beyond the manufacturer’s official warranty terms.
Both applicator documentation and customer registration may be required—completing only one part may not activate coverage.

Caring for Your AntiEtch® Surface

Proper care helps preserve the appearance and performance of your MORE® AntiEtch® surface and is important for maintaining qualifying warranty coverage.

Follow these general care practices:

– Use a clean microfiber cloth for routine cleaning.
– Use only manufacturer-approved cleaning methods, including the recommended diluted isopropyl alcohol solution described in the official care guide.
– Wipe up spills promptly, especially oils and dark liquids.
– Use cutting boards rather than cutting directly on the treated surface.
– Use trivets beneath hot cookware and heat-producing appliances.
– Use coasters beneath glasses, bottles, and containers.
– Lift objects instead of sliding them across the countertop.
– Avoid abrasive powders, cleaning creams, scouring pads, and aggressive chemicals.
– Do not allow moisture to remain trapped beneath mats, appliances, containers, or decorative objects.
– Contact a qualified AntiEtch® professional before attempting repairs or alterations.

Always follow the manufacturer’s current care guide if its instruction

AntiEtch® protects against qualifying etching and staining—it does not eliminate the need for sensible countertop care.

If You Have a Warranty Concern

If you notice possible etching, staining, discoloration, coating deterioration, or another concern with your treated surface, document the condition and report it promptly.

1. Stop using abrasive cleaners, chemicals, or repair products on the affected area.
2. Take clear photographs showing both the affected area and the surrounding countertop.
3. Locate your NextGen Surface Care invoice, installation date, warranty number, and registration confirmation.
4. Contact NextGen Surface Care so we can help evaluate and document the condition.
5. Submit any required written notice and supporting documentation directly to ROX™/MORE® within the deadline stated in the official warranty.

The manufacturer’s current warranty instructs customers to provide written notice of a potential claim within 30 days of discovering the issue. ROX™ will determine whether the condition qualifies for coverage and what remedy, if any, is available.

Contacting NextGen Surface Care does not replace any written notice that the manufacturer requires from the customer.
