This is a legacy service. NextGen Surface Care no longer actively markets carpet cleaning, but it may be available for previous clients and qualified requests in Texas.
Service Overview
Carpet cleaning involves professional deep extraction of dust, dirt, allergens, and other contaminants trapped within carpet fibers. The process includes pre-inspection, pre-treatment of stains and high-traffic areas, hot water extraction, and post-inspection. Carpets are left clean, refreshed, and free of residue. This service is suitable for both residential and commercial properties, including offices, hospitality spaces, and multi-unit buildings.
Availability & Limitations
Carpet cleaning requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This service is not available for all properties or timelines. Requests must include a valid Texas service address and relevant details about the scope of work. Emergency response and rapid scheduling are not guaranteed.

The process includes pre-inspection for soil and damage, vacuum extraction, pre-treatment of stains, soil extraction and rinse, and optional fabric protection application. This service is designed to restore the appearance of furniture and extend its useful life. Technicians are trained in proper cleaning solutions and methods for a variety of upholstery materials.
Availability & Limitations
Upholstery cleaning requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This service is not available for all furniture types, fabric compositions, or timelines. Requests must include a valid Texas service address and relevant details about the items to be cleaned.
This is a legacy service. NextGen Surface Care no longer actively markets wood floor cleaning & buffing, but it may be available for previous clients and qualified requests in Texas.
Service Overview
Wood floor cleaning is a deep cleaning and maintenance service for hardwood floors with an existing polyurethane or wax finish. It is not a sanding or refinishing service. The process includes vacuuming with HEPA filtration, steam cleaning or scrubbing with a weighted floor machine, and buffing to restore reflectivity. For floors without a sealed finish, waxing and buffing may be applied. This service is suitable for residential and commercial properties where hardwood floors need to be refreshed without the disruption of a full refinishing project.
Availability & Limitations
Wood floor cleaning requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This service is not available for floors requiring sanding, staining, or full refinishing. Requests must include a valid Texas service address and relevant details about the flooring finish and condition.
This is a referral-based service. NextGen Surface Care does not perform rug cleaning in-house but may facilitate referrals to a trusted partner facility.
Service Overview
Oriental and area rug cleaning involves a multi-step process including pre-inspection, dry soil removal, pre-conditioning, sanitation wash, rinse, drying, and finishing. Eduardo Ramos, owner of NextGen Surface Care, is a Certified Rug Master graduate (Class of 2014) and has worked with sophisticated rug cleaning facilities in the Houston area. This background informs the referral process and ensures rugs are placed in qualified hands.
Availability & Limitations
Rug cleaning is handled through referral only. NextGen Surface Care does not provide direct rug cleaning services at this time. Referral availability depends on the partner facility’s capacity and location.
This is a legacy service. NextGen Surface Care no longer actively markets carpet stretch & repairs, but it may be available for previous clients and qualified requests in Texas.
Service Overview
Carpet stretching addresses wrinkles, ripples, and buckling that develop over time due to improper installation, heavy foot traffic, or humidity changes. The process involves releasing the carpet from tack strips, using a power stretcher to eliminate slack, and re-securing the carpet for a smooth, taut finish. This service also includes seam repairs for separated or visible seams, as well as patch work for areas damaged by burns, stains, pet damage, or heavy wear. Properly stretched and repaired carpet extends the life of your flooring investment and restores a professional appearance.
Availability & Limitations
Carpet stretch and repair requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This service is best suited for carpet that is structurally sound but suffering from installation issues or localized damage. Requests must include a valid Texas service address, carpet type, and photos of the affected areas. Full carpet replacement is not offered through this service.
This is a legacy service. NextGen Surface Care no longer actively markets fabric protector application, but it may be available for previous clients and qualified requests in Texas.
Service Overview
Fabric protector application involves applying a professional-grade protective coating to carpet fibers and upholstery fabrics. This invisible barrier repels liquids, resists oil-based stains, and prevents dirt from bonding to fibers—making routine cleaning easier and more effective. Fabric protection is ideal for high-traffic areas, homes with children or pets, and commercial spaces where appearance matters. The treatment does not alter the look or feel of the fabric and is safe for most textile types. Reapplication is recommended after each professional cleaning to maintain optimal protection.
Availability & Limitations
Fabric protector application is available as an add-on to carpet cleaning or upholstery cleaning services, or as a standalone treatment for previously cleaned surfaces. Requests must include a valid Texas service address and details about the fabrics to be treated. Not all fabric types are suitable for protective treatment—pre-inspection is recommended.
This is a legacy service. NextGen Surface Care no longer actively markets garage floor epoxy coating, but it may be available for previous clients and qualified requests in Texas.
Service Overview
Garage floor epoxy involves the professional application of a multi-layer epoxy coating system to residential garage concrete. The process includes thorough surface preparation (grinding, crack repair, and cleaning), primer application, epoxy base coat, optional decorative flakes or metallic effects, and a clear topcoat for UV and abrasion resistance. The result is a seamless, high-gloss finish that resists oil, chemicals, tire marks, and everyday wear. Epoxy-coated garage floors are easy to clean, improve lighting by reflecting ambient light, and dramatically enhance the appearance of your garage. This service is for residential garage floors only—not commercial, industrial, or interior living spaces.
Availability & Limitations
Garage floor epoxy requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This service requires adequate curing time and controlled conditions. Requests must include a valid Texas service address, approximate square footage, and current condition of the concrete. Properties with significant moisture issues, previously coated floors, or outdoor slabs may not qualify. A site inspection is required before scheduling.
